
The MGUSC food service department is once again offering free meals to families in the community this summer! From 5-6:30 every Monday in June, families can pick up five breakfasts and five lunches for every child in their family. You must register for the meals at: bit.ly/MGsummerfood

The MG Trap Club is hosting a community event on Monday, June 9, starting at 5:30 at the Deer Creek Conservation Club! Bring your own firearm or borrow one from the club. The cost is $30 for two rounds, and a food truck will be available. Come try out the sport and support one of our clubs!


Ten Park Elementary students won the Marion Health anti-vaping poster contest: Stevie, Peyton, Phoenix, Isabelle, Kennedy, McKenna, Lukas, Laney, Alynda, and Rebecca! Congratulations to these students on their beautiful artwork with meaning.



Mrs. Tarter's fourth-grade class learned about where their food comes from by grinding their own flour to make pancake mix! What a yummy learning experience.

Fifteen MGHS students played in the Grant County Honor Band recently! They did a wonderful job and had a great experience.





Summitville recently hosted a family game night, and 128 people from 38 families attended. It was a fun night to be an Argyll!









Summitville Elementary students used the Great Kindness Challenge to show appreciation for the Summitville and Fairmount Police and Fire Departments, and the Grant County Sheriff's Department! They created snack baskets to donate. We love celebrating our local heroes!




Park Elementary Unified Basketball had an amazing season this year! We're grateful for the peers and coaches who help all students have a great experience.

Spring sports have started at MGHS, and work continues on the athletic facility projects. It's a great time to be an Argyll!





TOMORROW is Kindergarten Roundup! Join us from 5:30-6:30 at Summitville Elementary to make sure your child is ready for kindergarten next year.


Members of the National Junior Honor Society read to kindergarten and first-grade students to celebrate Read Across America week. It was a great time to share our love of reading!

Students in Mr. Gowin’s agriculture class had a guest speaker come and talk to them about the process of chicken eggs hatching. Students then got the opportunity to hatch some themselves!

Park Elementary’s robotics teams competed recently, and Team A earned a spot at the State Robotics Championships! All teams showed great perseverance and teamwork. Best of luck at state, Team A!


Our third-graders recently took the IREAD test, and the fourth-graders threw an encouragement parade before they began to motivate them to do their best!
